Celebrity City Guide: Chris Willis

Chris_willis_2 Name: Chris Willis
Age: 41
Profession: Recording Artist / Songwriter / Producer [Dance/Pop]
City: Atlanta
Relationship Status: Single

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?
My favorite date in Atlanta would be to go to Grape Atlantic Station and a movie after at Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station. I love sitting outside at The Grape for dinner. On top of their incredible wine selection, the menu is full of items that fit any budget and appetite. The Atlantic Station location is perfect for people-watching and cozying up to one you love. You can hide in plain sight. Who doesn't like a movie after dinner?

Josh Zuckerman's Ashbury Park

Josh_zuckerman_1 Name: Josh Zuckerman
Profession: Singer/Songwriter/Musician
City: Asbury Park
Relationship Status: Single
Sexuality: Gay

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?

I had a great date at Cafe' Ole, this Spanish restaurant with nice ambient lighting and a very intimate setting. We then went to the beach and then to Paradise for a drink. It was such a magical evening because of the company I was with.

What are some of the things you love most about your city/town?

I love Asbury Park because of the artistic flair and the diversity it offers. It is extremely gay friendly and you can just be yourself. It offers a great music scene which is where I started out in the early years and continues to offer high standards of contemporary art.

Hot in the City: Cazwell

Cazwell_1 Name: Cazwell
Profession: DJ, Performer, MC, New York Nightlife Party Personality, Gay Icon
City: New York City
Relationship Status: Not single
Sexuality: Gay

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?

Sex first. Eat later. Besides sex builds an appetite.

What are some of the things you love most about your city/town?

I love that you can get anything you want at anytime. If you want to buy a dozen roses, you want ice cream , a falafel sandwich or a hooker. New York has it all 24/7. I remember where I came from in Massachusetts and how growing up we had to get to the store by 9pm when it closed if we had to buy something. I try to never take for granted what the city that never sleeps has to offer me.

I've always felt that new york gives you access to everything you need to make your dreams come true. you just have to stay on top of it.

Khalid's Guide to Amman, Jordan

Khalid Name: Khalid
Age: 20
Profession: Design student/model/writer
City: Amman
Relationship Status: Single
Sexuality: Gay

Where is the best public place for a gay person to make out in Amman?

That is a funny and so hard to answer kind of a Q! in Jordan it's very hard to make out, though it's easy to show DPF, like hand holding, touching… but making out, mmm, not sure though, if you have a car maybe though hehe. I once made out with this guy that I dated few years ago under this bridge, he was like "I need to experience something with you, let's make out here" and I was like mmm ok! It was exciting!

What is the best date you ever had in Amman?  Why?

I never had that experience of the 'perfect date' yet, but I might've if I gathered all the ones I went through. I remember this guy that I went out with like a year ago, we went for this veggie sank, we walked to the ice cream shop then we sat on a side walk in a calm street under the street light. I knew the kinds of questions to ask, which led him to tear a little… a hug was made to be and holding his hand was just intense. It was a nice memory at a nice time…

Celebrity City Guide: Rob Williams on Los Angeles, CA

Rob_williams_2 Name: Rob Williams
Profession: Filmmaker, Co-founder of Guest House Films
City: Los Angeles
Relationship Status: Long-Term Relationship
Sexuality: Gay

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?

My best date in Los Angeles has to be my first date with my partner. We met for brunch at Swingers on Beverly Boulevard, and then wandered through the Fairfax District perusing yard sales and talking for hours. The next day, we saw a double feature at the New Beverly Theater, and we've been together for 15 years since then.

What are some of the things you love most about your city?

Having grown up in a small town, I love that Los Angeles has just about everything - tons of things to do, day or night; amazing cultural attractions; a diverse group of people, etc. And being a filmmaker, this is the place to be.

Jack Mackenroth's Gay New York

JackMackenroth_1 Name: Jack Mackenroth
Age: 40
Profession: Fashion Designer, TV Producer and Host
City: New York
Relationship Status: Dating
Sexuality: Super Gay

What is the best date you ever had in this town? Why?

A guy took me on a midnight helicopter ride around Manhattan. We got pretty close to the buildings. It was pretty amazing to fly around the Statue of Liberty. I wonder what happened to him. He probably crashed.

What are some of the things you love most about your city/town?

I love that you can get anything you want delivered to your door at anytime. I can get a hooker, a bamboo plant and a diet coke all at 2 AM. Then I can make that hooker water the bamboo while I drink my diet coke. Good times.

I also love the subway. Manhattan is so compact that you can get anywhere in the city on the subway in less than an hour. Plus you can sit next to a crack whore and a supermodel in the same ride. It's a great equalizer.

Queer LA with Peter Paige

Peter paige gay Name: Peter Paige
Age: Really? 40, just turned.
Profession: Actor/writer/director -- honest to God
City: Los Angeles
Relationship Status: Alas...
Sexuality: Gay

If you had gay friends visiting from out of town for the first time, what are some "musts" that you'd recommend they see or do?

I find L.A. a tricky town to visit, but you gotta hit the Getty, LACMA, MOCA, the beach, Silver Lake for some people watching, and Melrose (west of Fairfax, mostly) for some shopping.

What are some of the things you love most about Los Angeles?

I love the access. L.A. is one of those world-class cities with everything imaginable -- entertainment, culture (I swear), art, great food, and good nightlife. You just have to know where to find it.

Lady GaGa's Bi-coastal/Gay Hot Spots

Lady gaga gay5 Name: Lady GaGa
Birthday: March 28, 1986
Profession: Performer
City: Lower East Side / West Hollywood
Relationship Status: Single -- I'm married to my work.
Sexuality: Bisexual

How did you get your name?

Well, I started working with producer Rob Fusari when I was 19, and he would always say that I'm very theatrical when I sing and play piano. He started calling me 'GaGa' after the Queen song 'Radio Ga Ga'. And I kept it.

How did you go from an Uptown girl to a Downtown diva?

I didn't transition into the downtown musical scene until I was 18, after high school. I never connected with that community. I really considered myself as more of an observer in high school and then when I had the opportunity to move out and experience New York City on my own, I found the community I did fit in with.
