Military Bashing

Private First Class Barry Winchell, 21, had been stationed at Fort Campbell since May 1998 and hoped to become a helicopter pilot. At about 3am on July 5, he was physically attacked in his barracks, and died of his wounds in a nearby hospital the following day. PFC Calvin Glover, 18, a member of Winchell's Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment for only two months, has been charged with premeditated murder.
