AceofsweenTell us about your first relationship? How long did it last? Whose heart got broken, if anyone's?

This might blow everyone's mind (and raise questions as to why I chose the "dating" topic). I've never been in a lasting relationship of any kind. I don't consider the two weeks or so that you spend getting to know someone a true relationship.

Have you ever gotten your heart broken? Tell us about it!
Yes, I certainly have. I was very much in love with a friend of mine. The catch was that he lived in LA and I live in NC. For months, we talked for hours on the phone and several times we nearly got together, but circumstances always conspired against us. I felt such a great connection to him and I was confident when he visited in the summer we would start a relationship. But he made a decision to move to NYC and while visiting there he met someone else and suddenly the man that I spent every spare moment talk to was taken from me. I still love him very much and it still hurts.

Aceofsween_1 Who was your first crush? If you're no longer with that person, what would you say to that person now, if you could?
If I had to pick out my first gay crush that I actually thought of as a gay crush, it would have to be a co-worker of mine when I was in college. He had blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. He was very much the ladies man and I found him extremely attractive. Imagine my shock then when I got a phone call from him after I left school at 4 am in the morning. He wanted to get together sometime for more than just coffee! Nothing ever happened though... what a shame.

Describe the type of guy you're most attracted to.
It's hard to put it into words. If Abercrombie models had cute faces, that might be close, but that body type is definitely for me, haha! I love blue eyes and I'm partial to blond hair. A good smile is a plus. I would have to find a collage of pictures to really spell it out.

Aceofsween_2 What was your best date ever?
Remember the no relationship thing? That kinda ties into the no dates. Most of them have been the classic dinner and a movie thing but obviously since the relation didn't last the dates were kinda fizzling. Anyone want to be my "best" date?

What do you consider to be your favorite kind of date?
I'm really a big fan of taking the time to cook for someone at home. I love to cook and am pretty good at it and kinda feel like it shows that you really put some thought and effort into that person so that you could produce something that they would enjoy.

When does sex usually come into the picture when you meet someone?
I don't sleep around so for me, it's not a big factor. Sure, I think about it it. I'm a terrible flirt and I have no problems making jokes about it, but I like to be comfortable with someone before I sleep with them. Sorry boys!

What are you attracted to in a person that others might find surprising?
If I had to pick one thing, I would say stomachs. It's not just 6-packs, although those are very nice. It's the leanness and tightness of the stomach and how it gives way to the V... And if their wearing jeans that show off that V it's just oh so sweet... But it all starts with the stomach.

What's the worst thing about dating?
The awkwardness about trying to be comfortable with someone you're not very familiar with yet.

Aceofsween_3 What's the best thing about dating?
Once you find someone who you really enjoy spending time with, there's really nothing better than that. The best thing about dating aren't the dates themselves. It's the relationship that they lead into which is what everyone who goes on a date is (or should be) looking for.

Are you the usually the dumper or the dumpee?
If I'm not feeling it, I cut it off. If I do feel something, I work really hard to preserve it. That usually leads me to doing more dumping, but because I'm pretty obvious when I'm not really interested in pursuing anything more, it comes off as mutual.

What's the worst line you've gotten?
Something about my ass being a keg and how he wanted to tap that. It was really bad.

Do you tend to meet more people online or in bars?
Lately, I've wanted to get away from the online thing. I've made some great friends, had some great heart aches, but in general, I think you can't really ever replace meeting someone face to face.
