Coqui11379_1Describe the sensation you get after you make a killer find.

I love that feeling when u have an idea of what you want before you head out to the mall and then you actually find it, and if it’s on sale you’ve hit the jackpot, it’s like being a kid on Christmas morning and you got the present you wanted really bad.

Do you put a lot of effort into selecting the perfect underwear?

I will admit there are times when my underwear color matches my outfit and depending on the pants, different underwear is needed.

How much time a day do you spend on your hair?

I used to spend at least an hour on my hair, using hair gel, hair spray and numerous amounts of other products which made my hair not move, now I stick to a simple hair serum that keeps my curls nice and soft, I just apply to semi wet hair, style and go, it obviously takes more time when I straighten my hair.  I spend more time when it comes to shaping my eyebrows.

Are you a product junkie?

I have to have the basics, a nice body lotion, cologne and hair products. Then there are extra necessities; some Max Factor clear mascara for my eyebrows and MAC concealer for the dark circles under my eyes.

Where do you shop?

H&M, Gap, Hollister, A&F, AE, Express and Vintage stores.Coqui11379_2

Do you tend to be attracted to men with style similar to yours? Or the exact opposite?

I tend to lean toward guys with a style such as mine, mostly guys with a Geek Chic style.

Is there a particular accessory you can't live without?

I LOVE ties, I wear one with most outfits, whether it’s loosely around my neck when I’m casual or when I get dressed up. I also love a scarf in the winter, they also have to match the outfit, I tend to keep it loosely around my neck even indoors.

Where do you get your style information? People on the street? Mags? Celebs?

Mostly magazines, GQ, Vogue and Esquire

What are your three favorite articles of clothing and why?

- Low-rise boot cut jeans: love the way they make my butt look

- A suit jacket: you can dress it up at night time or dress it down with jeans and a t-shirt for the day.

- My Steve Madden shoes: I don’t know if they count as an article of clothing, but they are the most comfortable dress shoes I own.

Is there one person you tend to go shopping with more than anyone else? Why?

My two best girlfriends, we are all very honest with each other, we have no problem telling one another if the other looks bad in an outfit and they have an amazing sense of fashion.

If you want to go out and get attention, do you have one foolproof outfit that does the trick?

If I want to draw attention to myself I’ll put on a bright color usually in a pattern such as my hot pink plaid button up shirt.

Coqui11379_3 Are you environmentally conscious when you purchase clothing?

Does one "going green" shirt from H&M count?

On average, what percent of your paycheck do you spend on your style (clothes, products, etc.)?

If I don’t have a bill to pay or a trip to save for, I’ll blow the whole thing on clothes, usually happens more at the beginning of a season to keep my wardrobe updated.

How long do you typically spend getting ready to go out on a date?

About two hours, but most of that is deciding what to wear.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

If were counting sandals in the summer as well, I would have to say well over 30 pairs of shoes/sandals.

When buying shoes and clothing, is comfort or style more important?

STYLE without a doubt.
