I love questions like these cause they make you stop and think would I use my super powers for good or bad would I travel in time to help humanity or myself are we that disgruntaled with the parents we where given and who the hell would want to be straight:):)

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why? I would love to fly.

If you were one of the seven dwarves, which one would you be and why? Which would your friends say you were? Lazy. My friends would say I am sneezy.

What is best about being gay in America? Being an individual, free thinker.

What's the worst thing about being gay in America? Discrimination and prejudice.

Name one thing you simply couldn't live without.
My doggies.

If you could travel in time, would you go forward or back and why?
I would go back in time and try to prevent secseless tragedies.

If you could choose different parents, would you? No, my parents are who I am and who I will become.

Which would you rather be and why -- unbelievably attractive and poor, or hideously ugly and rich? I would rather be kind, compassionate, caring, and loving.

If you could go back in time and "choose" to be straight, would you and why? Yes. It is easier to be what society accepts as normal.

A good part of being homosexual is living at this time and working to gain our equal/civil rights, by educating ourselves and others about the issues. As in other civil rights movements, it is great to experience the change and see how America's system works-now all we have to do is coninue voting out lousy anti-gay politicians and stop giving money to churches and businesses that are anti-gay.

"What is best about being gay in America?" The best thing is that the U.S. isn't an Arab country. At least, the Fundies don't chop off our heads or hang us or push us out of airplanes. (Not that they wouldn't if they could get away with it! Don't hand me that "love the sinner, hate the sin" crap!)

"What's the worst thing about being gay in America?" Homophobia and bigotry. Notice how peachy proud bigots are of their bigotry. (Or how often they get caught in men's room stings!)

"If you could go back in time and "choose" to be straight, would you and why?" Hell, no! Although the early years of being gay can be difficult to get through, our "outsider" status teaches us to be more introspective and thoughtful regarding sexual roles. And, hopefully, we become more tolerant of others.

"If you could travel in time, would you go forward or back and why?" Since I was involved in the early gay rights movement (prior and through the Stonewall riots), I already know exactly how far we as GLBT people have come and how far we got to go. I'd rather go forward a few decades in time to see if we've achieved our equality yet.

"If you could choose different parents, would you?" Yes. (How's that for brevity?)

"Which would you rather be and why -- unbelievably attractive and poor, or hideously ugly and rich?" Well, I've already been unbelievably attractive and poor (LOL) so I'd try for being hideously ugly and rich? When you're fabulously rich, you can always pay for cosmetic surgery and reconstruction. When you're attractive and poor, you sometimes have to depend upon the kindness of strangers.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

The power to become invisible. Perfect way to avoid bores.

If you were one of the seven dwarves, which one would you be and why? Which would your friends say you were?

Bashful…it has such an aura of innocence. My friends think I’m Grumpy.

What is best about being gay in America?

Growing up in the fifties and seeing so many wonderful changes come about.

What's the worst thing about being gay in America?

Everybody expects you to be buff and beautiful and so few of us are.

Name one thing you simply couldn't live without.

My computer.

If you could travel in time, would you go forward or back and why?

Forward, always forward.

If you could choose different parents, would you?

In a micro-minute, except then I might not be the wonderful person I am, today.

Which would you rather be and why -- unbelievably attractive and poor, or hideously ugly and rich?

Hideously ugly and rich. A variation of this worked for Henry Willson

If you could go back in time and "choose" to be straight, would you and why?

I might choose to be “bi”, just to investigate what straight people swear I’m missing.
