Hugh Jackman Won't Repeat his Oscar Gig

Say it ain't so. The thrice-over talented Aussie hunk Hugh Jackman won praise and prestige when the Wolverine star hosted the 2009 Academy Awards ceremony. The star of stage and screen sang, danced, and charmed the A-list crowd and viewers, to the delight of the show’s producers. So much so, in fact, they invited Jackman to return as the show’s host next March.

Sadly, Variety reports that Jackman declined the hosting gig a second time around. Entertainment sites say Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr passed up hosting duties before Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were announced as the 2010 hosts.
