Gay TV on a Thursday Night: Don't Be Tardy for the Party
Turn your TV to NBC at 8:30 p.m. to see a familiar face and hear that high-pitched voice we know and love. Will & Grace may have cast two actors in the title roles, but for true fans, the series lived and died by the hyper-hilarity of Jack (Sean Hayes) and Karen (Megan Mullally). Mullally brings some signature sparkle to another NBC sitcom tonight when she guest-stars opposite her real-life husband, Nick Offerman. With a woman as talented as she, there's bound to be fireworks in tonight's episode.
Admit it: You love The Real Housewives. Wild horses couldn't stop you from tuning in to the final installment of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion tonight at 9. Are Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak really ready to kiss and make up? We hope not. You won't want to miss the ladies dish and dis each other. The icing on this peach pie: Kim Z. herself bursts into song with her very own single, "Tardy for the Party."
Also at 9, click over to ABC to check in with our resident lovelorn surgeons on Grey's Anatomy. While Jessica Capshaw recently hinted there is not smooth sailing ahead for her character's lesbian relationship with Dr. Callie (Sara Ramirez), tonight's episode spotlights the flaxen-haired doc's wonderful spirit. Dr. Arizona and the gang promise tonight they'll make you believe in miracles as they struggle to save the life of a newborn.
For the 10 o’clock hour, check out a new Project Runway on Lifetime. As the hopefuls inch closer to the final showdown, gay contestant Christopher is struggling, as is Gordana. All are vulnerable tonight in an episode with a shocking elimination. At the same time, out comedian, actress, and activist Wanda Sykes hangs out with Jay Leno to talk about her new show, which finally comes to TV next week.
The main event at 10 is the premiere of an all-new season of those wacky Real Housewives of Orange County. The ladies make a lame attempt at playing nice, but it doesn't take. Looks like the Housewives, Jeana Keough, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, and a very touched-up-looking Lynne Curtin, all return for season 5, plus a new housewife, Alexis Bellino, is on the O.C. scene. The original Housewives can still be counted on for completely self-absorbed, superficial bitchfests... Not that we fault them for it; it's fun watch.
In late-night land, David Letterman has liberal lush Bill Maher and country superstar Keith Urban on his Late Show at 11:35 on CBS. Make sure you tune in for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on NBC at 12:35 a.m. for the distinguished gay actor Sir Ian McKellen, plus Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Tell us: Whose side are you on: Team Nene or Team Kim?

I think Vampire Diaries should be mentioned here. It's a great show, with a great story line, not to mention a very hot cast.
