Sean Hayes & Kristin Chenoweth are Broadway Bound

In a new Broadway production of Promises, Promises, set to begin previews in late March, two larger-than-life talents will team up to star. You may know both from their Emmy award-winning television work.

Playing Chuck, the corporate suit who regularly loans his apartment to company executives for their extramarital affairs, is Will & Grace's irrepressible Sean Hayes. Kristin Chenoweth, from the musical smash Wicked and the sadly canceled TV series Pushing Daisies, plays a mistress with whom Chuck falls in love..

The show, with a book by Neil Simon and songs by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, was first produced on Broadway in 1968, and this is its first revival. It’s based on Billy Wilder’s Oscar-winning 1960 film The Apartment, which starred Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine.

Previews are scheduled to commence March 28, and the official opening night is April 25.
