Gay TV on a Wednesday Night: ‘Glee’ and ‘Modern Famliy’ Reign Supreme
First up, many fans have been watching the never-ending auditions, waiting for the new season of So You Think You Can Dance to really start taking shape. Well, tonight's episode is just the ticket. It's semifinals time for the contestants, and to make it to the show’s top 20, they'll have to survive serious stuff during Vegas training. This means SYTYCD's first same-sex couple will be back tonight.
At 9 p.m. our weekly check-in with the wonderfully whimsical McKinley High Glee club is finally here! It's a boys-versus-girls show choir-off tonight when the kids preform inspired mash-ups to one-up each other. Plus Mr. Schuester's (Matthew Morrison) wifey, Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig), is the school's new nurse, so she's on hand to nip his flirtation with adorable germ-a-phobe Emma (Jayma Mays) in the bud.
Don't miss the third episode of our fast-climbing favorite new show, Modern Family, on ABC at 9 p.m. While family dysfunction continues to manifest across the generations, tonight viewers get to find out what flick first bonded the too-cute couple Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and scene-stealer Cameron (Eric Stonestreet). Is anybody else a little in love with Cameron? He's fiercely funny!
On tonight's Top Chef: Las Vegas at 10 p.m. on Bravo, the Vegas theme continues as contestants are at the mercy of a slot reel's spins to determine their quick-fire dish. Then, during the main event, the culinary kids have to whip up a catered dinner fit for the Macy's Culinary Council. Needless to say, it's going to be hot in the kitchen tonight.
Fans of the wickedly witty out comedian Wanda Sykes will want to catch her on The Jay Leno Show on NBC tonight. Hopefully the funny lady and gay marriage activist will have new details on her own late-night chatfest, which is rumored to be coming to television soon. For those staying up a little later, catch Arrested Development's sexy straight man, Jason Bateman, on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien tonight.
Tell us: Is Wednesday night your favorite TV night? What are you watching?

Halloween is on Saturday night this year.
Halloween is always on the same night of the week that the 4th of July was on.
